Dodge Viper Configurator Is Now Live
By Paulo Acoba
Back in January there was word that Dodge was releasing a full on configurator for the 2015 Dodge Viper where you can choose any exterior color you want, and today it just went live.
As you can see, you can practically choose any color visible to the human spectrum and apply it to the exterior of a 2015 Dodge Viper.
You can’t get too fancy with the exterior paint job as only a solid color will do. But as you can see, if you can dream of a color, it’s definitely available.
According to Dodge, “there are more than 25 million unique build combinations are available for the Dodge Viper GTC. Options include 8,000 hand-painted exterior colors, 24,000 hand-painted custom stripes, 11 wheel options, 16 interior trims, seven aero packages, three brake packages, four suspension options, as well as a host of standalone options.”
And it doesn’t stop there. Before you actually confirm the purchase, Dodge will actually make a 1:18 scale model of your car.
In addition, owners will have the distinction of owning a one of one model as there will be a plate inside designating that fact.
MSRP for a 2015 Dodge Viper starts out at $84,995. For the privilege of making a custom one
For the privilege of making a custom one of one paint edition, Dodge will charge you an extra $10,000.
Don’t forget that Dodge dropped the price of the Viper by a full $15,000 at the beginning of 2015. So technically you can get yourself a sweet paint job and still act like you’re getting $5,000 off.
