This Is Floyd Mayweather’s Exotic Car Collection
By Paulo Acoba
When you think of Ferrari nowadays, you immediately think of Ferrari 458 with its classic mid-engine design and screaming V8. Priced $10,000 less than the 458, the Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano was hailed as one of the best Ferrari’s ever made when it came out in 2007.
Does it matter to Floyd Mayweather? Probably not, but it still shows that he has a little bit of taste when it comes to exotics. Per the norm, this one is also white. Surprisingly, this one is not a convertible.
Out of all the Ferrari’s in his collection, this one gets the least press attention as far as I know. You’ll either see FLoyd in his 458’s or his newly acquired Ferrari Enzo.
You can see Floyd’s right-hand car man, Bruce the driver, piloting around his Enzo while Mayweather trains.
With its signature front mid-engined layout, the Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano was meant to handle well. The engine underneath the bonnet is none other than a patented Italian screamer.
With an 8400 RPM redline, the naturally aspirated V12 provides 612 HP and 448 lbs-ft of torque to the rear wheels. 60 MPH comes in 2.7 seconds and top speed maxes out at 205 MPH.
To Floyd, these exotics may just be mere toys that he uses to relax and enjoy himself, but they are serious pieces of machinery. Weather Floyd flogs them on a daily basis is up to debate, but when your whole career depends on staying fighting fit, Floyd’s probably just a boulevard cruiser.
