Priced at $339,725 which happens to be a full $135,000 more than a base model Bentley Continental V-8S, the GT3-R gets you 50 HP and 17 lbs-ft of torque over the base model. If you hold the over boost function on the steering wheel, HP is boosted another 20 HP. Holding in all that power is an 8-speed ZF automatic transmission.

Shod around each wheel are 18″ OZ Racing rims with meaty 275/35 tires at all corners . Unlike the actual racecar, power is routed through all four wheels which according to Bentley, “makes the GT3-R more usable, safer and more enjoyable year-round.”

The GT3-R is also a good 100 kilograms lighter than the regular car which it is based off of but that doesn’t mean the V8 isn’t carrying around a bit of heft.

Push it hard enough and sixty comes in 3.6 seconds with a theoretical top speed of 170 MPH.

Inside, it’s still pure luxury. All the leather interior has been sourced from Scandinavian cattle, which means none of the hides have been blemished by barbed wired. Carbon fiber seats are also bespoke to this chassis.

This is purely a momentum car. Once things get moving, it’s hard to reign in. Thankfully there are 8 piston calipers at each wheel to slow down this luxurious racecar for the road (420 mm ceramic discs in the front/ 365 mm discs in the rear.)

Car and Driver aptly quoted that,

"“It is a bone for the Bentley fan base, an increasingly younger crowd that wants performance.”"
