Ronda Rousey’s 2005 Honda Accord LX Is Up For Sale
By Paulo Acoba
How would you like to own the 2005 Honda Accord that Ronda Rousey used to own? Because now you can according to an exclusive report by TMZ and confirmed by ArmBar Nation’s eBay listing earlier this week (June. 3, 2015.) Ronda Rousey collaborated with Arm Bar Nation to put her beloved 2005 Honda Accord up for sale on the popular bid site eBay with a pickup location close to her Santa Monica home. Despite the fact that her Honda Accord has more than 156,098 miles on the odometer AND needs a new transmission, as of today, there are more than 70 bids currently at $21 thousand. Not bad for a used car, but then again it has a very special owner.
According to the listing, a lot of Ronda’s personal effects are still in the vehicle which adds to the entire experience. It wouldn’t be quite the same car if she washed, detailed and repaired it. Such items include”…medals, UFC programs from past events, patches, hats, and all kinds of random Ronda items.” And to make it even more into the mobile museum it will probably become, “Ronda did glue a few medals, patches, coins, and figurines to the inside of her car which probably aren’t going to come off. ”
Keen eyes will notice that she actually scrawled something on the airbag before officially listing it. She officially nicknamed her car Fonds. It reads,
"You were the best noble steed I could ask for. You never broke down, you hung in there when I couldn’t afford to change your oil. I could always depend on you. I love you, enjoy retirement."
Doesn’t that pretty much sum up any previous Honda owners experience? For many of us, Honda’s were and might still be our first car. Sure the engines weren’t all that powerful but they revved nicely in the upper band range and for the most part where a reliable friend, there for use even when we weren’t there for them. Arm Bar Nation even procured a video of Ronda in her Accord showcasing Ms. Rousey enjoying a bit of driving and “passenger-ing.” Her listing ends on Sunday. We’ll be curious to see how much she sells for.
