It looks like the 2016 Ford Mustang Shelby GT350R showed up at Carlisle Ford Nationals earlier last weekend and one intrepid Youtuber was able to capture the 2016 Ford Mustang Shelby GT 350R throw a couple of menacing revs at the audience while a bunch of gearheads watched below like a bunch of girls at a One Direction concert (pre-Zayn Malik departure of course.)

When Ford revealed the official numbers to its the Shelby GT350R, we all stood up and clapped. Thanks to its naturally aspirated 5.2-liter aluminum block V8 with flat plane crank, it pumps out a very hearty 526 HP and 429 lbs-ft of torque. Oh, and it happens to rev all the way up to 8250 RPM (and yes, this isn’t a Honda Motor.) Just check out that torque curve courtesy of Road and Track.

When you stuff all that power through an exhaust manifold, you have the ingredients to a very enticing exhaust note. Ford, in all its genius, decided to throw in a multi-mode exhaust. If you want to putt around town all quiet like, keep it in drive mode.

But when you want to throw the sound all the way up to 11, unleash the full fury of that multi-mode exhaust and let the whole neighborhood hear you return from work. If you’re hankering for one of these beasts, best whip out your checkbooks posthaste as there are only 100 GT 350’s and 37 GT 350Rs being produced this model year. Expect a

base price of over $47,000
