When you have more than 6 liters of American Muscle at your disposal, trouble quickly ensues. That’s what happened to one Maryland resident who was pulled over a full two weeks after doing a burnout according to GM Authority on a piece they dropped earlier yesterday (June. 11, 2015.)

Ocean City, Maryland is known for being one heck of a resort town, but to car enthusiasts, it’s also home to some of the best cruising car festivals that side of the Mississippi. VW fans know all to all to well about the annual H2O festival and this time of year heralds the return of the Cruisin Ocean City Car Show held over four days in mid-May.

Well one Corvette owner got a little tail happy in his Laguna Blue C6 upon exiting the car show and onto the Coastal Highway and proceeded to “Whip it.” After doing a full donut, the C6 driver then initiated a slow drift as he joins the rest of the cars lined up at the intersection (video posted above.) If there were judges on proper hoonage exit, he would’ve scored a solid 9.9 across the board. With crowds of people lined up on the sidewalk, this type of behavior was to be expected so there are no surprises here.

That same driver was pulled over recently after the video went viral online after multiple shares on Facebook and Youtube. According to the The Dispatch charges include, “negligent driving, reckless driving, driving a motor vehicle in a manner intended to cause skidding, driving spinning wheels, driving a motor vehicle in a manner intended to cause excessive noise and failure to drive right of center.” On top of that, he also faces a $1,000 fine. Unfortunately for him, he’s become the OCPD’s scapegoat for what happens to anyone who attempts these sorts of hi-jinks on public roads. So keep it off the streets people. Because more often than not, someone’s got their iPhone out recording.
