Watch Eminem Drift This Nissan S13 In His ‘Phenomenal’ Music Video

Rocket Bunny S13 Eminem? We didn’t know you had such drift car taste!
Eminem! Why didn’t you tell us you were an awesome drifter?! In Eminem’s latest music video that dropped earlier last week (July. 3, 2015) on Apple Music called ‘Phenomenal’, Eminem pulls off some pretty awesome vehicle stunts. Not only does Eminem execute a wicked stoppie on a crotch rocket, hijack a helicopter and pilot it through Tokyo’s night sky he also jumps into Randall Park’s (yes, the dude from ‘Fresh Off The Boat’) Nissan S13 drift car and proceeds to run away from John Malkovich’s cronies in Mercedes G-Class SUV’s. Typical.
The first four minutes of the video involves Eminem waking up in a drug-induced stupor in some random hospital. Supposedly now he knows karate as he proceeds to whoop the butts of more than four guards as he exits the building. Then suddenly out of nowhere, he runs into John Malkovich in a rickshaw whose eating cheap Chinese food (I thought this was Tokyo?) They exchange some pleasantries and then ensues one of the most action-packed scenes of the music video. Drift action starts at 4:13.
After handily stealing and wrecking a motorbike, he jumps from his stoppie in midair he lands in Randall Park’s Nissan S13. Since it’s Japan of course, the drift car is “mad tight” right-hand drive only. Eminem then proceeds to whip it around corners the way only a rocket bunny S13 drift car can ( but some of it was CG.) Keen eyes will notice the lack of countersteering after he initiates the drift with one hand and his other hand on what we can only assume is the hand brake. Suddenly he stops drifting and is clearly upset about Park taking a selfie. After kicking Randall out of his own ride, Eminem suddenly forgets how to drive and wrecks the poor Nissan S13. Scumbag Eminem much?
It’s a great music video and one that combines Eminem and Drifting in a way I would’ve never thought possible. I wonder who owns that S13? That’s some awesome street cred. Nice S13! Oh what? Eminem drove it? No way (shows video.) Whaaaaaat?!?!
