Floyd Mayweather Wants To Own A Koenigsegg CCXR Trevita

Floyd, there are only three of these in existence. Please don’t hoon in it.
While Manny Pacquiao is visiting death row inmates in his home country of the Philippines and being a good husband and all around citizen, Floyd Mayweather is busy buying up the latest and greatest supercars (not that there’s anything wrong with that. According to our friends over at the Daily Mail earlier yesterday (July 15, 2015) the undefeated welter weight boxer was seen posing on top of the hood of a Koenigsegg CCXR Trevita in the showroom of his favorite dealer, Fusion Luxury Motorsports in Los Angeles. With only three of these beauties in existence, just being in the presence of one is a privilege, but to own one would mean putting down a $3.8 million check.
Picture this. Floyd talking with his money manager. “Look…I really really like this car, it’s super fast and rare. How come you won’t let me buy it please! Hold up, lemme take a picture with it.”
According to Wikipedia, “The CCXR Trevita is a limited edition of the Koenigsegg CCXR Edition featuring a diamond weave carbon fibre finish.” Powering this beautiful exotic 4.8 liter twin turbocharged V8 good for 1000 HP and 797 lbs-ft of torque. Blasts to 60 MPH just take 2.9 seconds and top speeds haven’t been confirmed, but they’re well over 249 MPH.
Floyd’s going to do what Floyd’s going to do. For $3.9 million, there are plenty of more powerful modern day supercars that he can enjoy (McLaren P1.) But we get it. Mayweather has to have the most exclusive and the best. Not to long ago, this particular CCXR Trevita was seen at Jay Leno’s Garage where the former late night talk show hose later posted a video on the experience. Check out the video below.
