Jesse McCartney Now Owns A Tesla Model S P85D

28-year-old American singer and song writer now owns a 2015 Tesla Model S P85D

Another A-list celebrity has joined list of people who own Teslas around the Hollywood Hills. Just yesterday (Aug. 13, 2014) Jesse McCartney announced on social media that he’s taken delivery of a brand spankin’ new 2015 Tesla Model S P85D in stunning pearl white. Like most car buffs, Jesse proudly proclaimed online, “She’s finally here!!” and looked quite excited posing next to his new ride. On top of the Tesla, smack dab in the middle of the windshield ,was a giant gift bow suggesting that maybe this car was a gift. But from who?

Jesse McCartney joins a long list of celebrities who own a Tesla Model S. Actress Alyson Hannigan has one, and by now she’s an expert in swapping out tires as her Model S infamously got a flat tire that the Paparazzi were more than happy to document.  Katy Perry was spotted leaving a restaurant in one. Blake Griffin was caught at a gas station with his Tesla Model S just to clean his windows. Matt Damon has been spotted driving around in one and even Indy driver Juan Pablo Montoya uses one as a daily driver. As far as we know, the only celeb in the spotlight who owns a P85D model is Joel Zimmerman a.k.a. Deadmau5.

Now this isn’t your mama’s Tesla Model S, this is the P85D. The D stands for dual motors which put out a colossal 691 HP and 864 lb-ft of drag racing torque. Let’s hope Jesse McCartney drives conservativly as the mighty P85D can launch to 60 MPH in 3.2 seconds!
