Police are currently searching for this nefarious individual who blatantly keyed this Aston Martin V8 Vantage.
Coming back to your car with a large gash in the paint that runs from the front of your car to the back can be upsetting. According to the BBC on their investigative piece they posted earlier today (Aug. 17, 2015) an East London man was caught on dash-cam keying a very expensive Aston Martin. Check out the video of the entire incident below.
In the video that runs less than 30 seconds, we see a man pushing his baby in a stroller by an Aston Martin. He stops and positions his baby carriage (or pram ) next to the passenger side of the Aston Martin and proceeds to unsheath a set of keys from his pocket. With the dashcam still running in the car we can clearly make out the face of the individual as he slowly and nonchalantly proceeds to destroy the entire left-hand side of this Aston Martin’s paint job. According to the video, this happened back in June of this year. Sources say that the damage to the vehicle cost the owner about $14,000.
Supercars or really nice cars in general inspire all sorts of emotions from owners and passerbys alike. Unfortunately, one of those emotions is jealousy. Ever since cars have been painted with a shiny coat of paint, they’ve been getting keyed by those who envy the owners or are just keen to committing heinous crimes. Fortunatly for this owner, he had his dashcam running to catch the man in the act. We just wonder why it took him so long to release the footage.
