Top 40 James Bond Vehicles Of All Time

#26- 1984 Chevrolet Corvette C4
Appeared in: A View to a Kill
Who knew a Russian Spy would have such exquisite taste for American sports cars as Pola Ivanova proved. While James Bond was investigating one of Zorin’s pumping stations, he happens upon two KGB Russian spies recording conversations off shore and placing explosives on the rig. One of them gets caught, but the other (Pola Ivanova) is conveniently offshore where she helps James Bond escape after fighting with a couple of impeller blades. Although we can assume it’s a rental, it’s one of the better-looking ones.
By the time A View to a Kill was released, the 1984 Chevrolet Corvette already had a steller first year of sales with over 51,000 units made. Powering the C4 was a carryover engine from 1982, the L83 5.7 liter V8. With so much displacement, the 1984 Chevrolet Corvette could only muster up 200 HP and 285 lb-ft which was just enough to hit 60 MPH in 7.1 seconds and given enough straight road, a top speed of 137 MPH.
We do know that this particular Corvette was equipped with a premium cassette player as Pola Ivanova soon found out after Bond switches her recorded conversations from the off shore rig with some grating music from the spa.
