#2 Big Oak Garage’s 1965 Dodge Dart

It’s truly amazing to see some of the best and cleanest builds coming from the every corner of the United States and Big Oak Garage’s 1965 Dodge Dart is no exception.

First conceived as a simple boulevard cruiser and driver’s car, once the owners dropped off their Dart SL at Big Oak’s Garage, there ideas transformed the car into the showpiece you see before you.

Underneath the hood is a 392 Supercharged Hemi V8 paired to a six-speed transmission.

Keen eyes will notice that the roof was lowered just a tad to give it that overall raked look.

All in all, over 110 modifications to the body were done as well as 42-one-off machined parts.

The interior itself was worked on by M&M Hot Rod Interiors and that in and of itself is its own magnum opus. If you do happen to be at SEMA, take some time to soak in all the subtleties.

Fitment is key when it comes to the wheels and tire package and the entire profile showcases a perfect, for the lack of a better word, stance.

And true to show car status, the paint pops with a bright green that stays true to outrageous Dodge colors and would find its home on any SRT Hellcat given the option. It’s called Green with Envy and the paint manufacturer even gave it its own future.

The car has already won top honors in Detroit’s Autorama Great 8.

And this little gem isn’t just all for show, it’s been out on the Autocross course as well tearing it up.
