#9- Forza Motorsports 6, Need For Speed 2015 or any of these titles.

There’s a good reason that both Forza Motorsports 6 and Need For Speed 2015 continuously make headlines. For one, both franchises have been in existence for at least ten years making them well cemented in popular car culture as the go-to games to relax and unwind with.  Need For Speed goes all the way back to 1994 with the original game coming out for PC.

  • Forza Motorsport 6– Finally released in September 2015 for Xbox one, new features such as wet-weather racing make this game as realistic as possible. This meant developers actually went out to real-world tracks and identified where puddles were formed to replicate real life conditions. Needless to say, driving games don’t get any better. Not to mention there are over 450 cars and 26 different tracks.
  • Need For Speed 2015– This franchise’s latest offer was a major spotlight during Gamescom 2015. Tons of research was done with car guys in the know including some of the staff from Speed Hunters, one of the most current car sites that’s constantly updating their original content on what’s current in the world of aftermarket modifications. You can’t go wrong with this title.
  • Project CARS– Released earlier this year in May, it’s a low-budget game that emphasizes real-world racing above all else. That means although it won’t have the same cache as the other two titles above, true enthusiasts will appreciate the physics behind this game. There’s a good reason they’ve dubbed it “The Ultimate Driver Journey.”
