A couple of days ago, I wrote about how buying a Mazda 2 could be a potential steal for the right buyer.  I listed three main things that a potential buyer should be mindful of when buying a used vehicle.

  1.  Never buy a new car when trying to save money.  Let 1-3 years of a depreciation of a vehicle do the saving for you.
  2.  Always buy exactly the car you want, no compromises, even in the used market
  3. Carfax and Autocheck aren’t always the most reliable sources for accident data.
