#5- Damn Scion FR-S

The Scion FR-S definitely gets our vote for us wanting to say, “Damn Daniel.” Priced at an affordable $25,305, it’s not out of the range of your average person in the sports car market.

First, there’s the styling. With your classic RWD proportions and elegant lines from Toyota’s design department ( a hat tip to the Toyota 2000GT,) it’s a design language that will live on far after they introduce a second generation.

Performance is lackluster from its naturally aspirated 200 HP and 151 lb-ft boxer four, but its adequate enough to get the rear loose. Helping are those Toyota Prius spec tires around all four-corners.

If you want to upgrade your wheels, you have TRD to thank with optional 18 x 7 alloys at an affordable $260 a wheel. Powdercoat them white and you can say, “Back at it again with the white TRD Alloys.”

And if you didn’t know already, Scion has been discontinued but the FR-S will live on as a Toyota.
