#40- Driver Blasting Music Wrecks His Car When The Bass Drops

Only people who enjoy absolute silence or fans of NPR and Books on MP3 aren’t the ones blasting music while they drive, but for everyone else music is a given for your daily commute. Music can calm you down for those long slogs through traffic or aid in waking your inner hoon. For this driver in this car, it was the later.

The long crack on his windshield already foreshadowed a driver who doesn’t care much about overall car maintenance nor has the time do deal with such trivialities as clear vision when driving.

While driving on  two lane road with traffic going in the opposite direction, his car was the last car in a long line of law abiding drivers. While most drivers overtake one or two cars at a time, this driver decides to jump the line and overtake five cars at once.

To pull this off normally you’d need a clear stretch of open highway with multiple lanes and a very powerful engine. This driver only had a lane of open traffic in another direction and what we assume is your run of the mill economy car.

Unfortunately for him, a driver was pulling into traffic while he was traveling in the wrong lane. To add insult to injury, he collided just as the music he was pumping reached its natural crescendo (e.g. when the bass dropped.)
