#48- Rented Lamborghini Gallardo Wrecks

If you’re renting an Exotic Lamborghini (we’re guessing Gallardo LP550) the last thing you want to do is wreck it, especially if you don’t have an insurance policy attached to it. How do we know this wrecked Lambo didn’t have any insurance for the rental? He fled the scene shortly after.

Earlier in March of 2015, a yellow Lamborghini Gallardo rented out was reported crashed by local authorities. A quick look at surveillance cameras near the scene of the crash showed that this raging bull was traveling in excessive speed on the southbound lane of a Dallas North Tollway when he lost control and slammed into a dividing barrier. The driver abandoned the scene shortly after.

Although authorities couldn’t make out just how fast this Lamborghini was going, they reckon it was “pretty darn fast.” The owner of the car is Exotic Skittles based out of Addison, Texas. Although they know who wrecked their car, they didn’t release a name.

The car costs around $165,000 used and $220,000 brand new. This Lamborghini was a total write off and sent to the scrapers. It usually costs around $1,200-$1,400 to rent the car for a weekend or a couple of weekdays.

We have a feeling that particular customer won’t be renting from Exotic Skittles anytime soon.
