Road Trip to the Bondurant SRT Experience
By Kelly G.
We head to Bondurant Racing School in Chandler, Arizona to attend the 1-day SRT Experience for a chance to jump in and track a Dodge Viper.
When rumors started circulating that Dodge was planning on ending its Dodge Viper program back in 2015, I knew I had to find a way to get behind the wheel and track this iconic vehicle.
You see, track day in a Dodge Viper was on my bucket list. Sure, there are plenty of other race cars that would probably make a much nicer track day vehicle, but I didn’t care. For some reason, every time I see a Viper, I immediately think about how fun that car must be on a road course. And I knew getting behind the wheel of a Dodge Viper was something that I needed to experience for myself.
Last year, with the help of my local tuner shop HG Motorsports, we did a big MOPAR build that we brought to SEMA Ignited. This build would land me a chance to attend the 1-day Bondurant SRT experience at the world-famous Bob Bondurant Racing School in Chandler, Arizona.

When I found out that Bondurant was taking over as the Official Dodge Driving School and more importantly, give’s fans the chance to track a Dodge Viper, I secured a spot right away. Check one more off the bucket list, right?
So while I was at SEMA, I made sure I stopped by the Bondurant booth to find out about dates for the course. Quick tip, don’t think you can just call and schedule a slot for next week! The school is extremely popular and is now the only school that offers the course in the country, so the slots fill up fast.
When I found a date that would work with my schedule, I ended up booking mine almost four months in advance!
