Panoz Avezzano

I was fortunate enough to be at the unveiling of the all-new Panoz Avenzzano before the Petit LeMans. The latest offering from the American car maker was a stunner. The announcement that it will be raced in the IMSA series in 2017 made it even more outstanding.

Hand built in Braselton Georgia, the Avenzzano offers the buyer an endless list of options ensuring that any time you see one, it will be an original. It is simplistic in its appearance and design, but underneath it is a marvel. Costing less than most mass-produced supercars, Panoz builds the Avenzzano for performance and reliability.

When my wife and I sit back and talk about what we would buy if we won the lottery, I have changed from the Aston Martin to the Panoz Avenzzano as my brand new sports car. Anyone who has driven a Panoz will tell you, there is nothing like it. The racing pedigree of Panoz run deep in the underpinnings of the Avenzzano making it my favorite of the cars of 2016.
