The most-likely candidate to fill up the shoes is the Porsche Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid. The 680-hp hybrid sedan does share the hybrid powertrain technology with the 918 Spyder. So in all likelihood, Porsche would prefer to release the hypercar on the track for the Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid to spar with.
