This British driver must be the unluckiest person on Earth as his new Ferrari F430 Scuderia crashed an hour minutes after the purchase was made.

There is literally nothing left here to see, pick up or salvage. This Ferrari F430 Scuderia is a total write-off and what makes this crash more tragic than anything else is that its owner barely got to drive it. Or even own it. Just in case you were wondering where this happened, it took place in the United Kingdom.

As per the Facebook update made by South Yorkshire Police’s operational support team, the crash took place as the owner was driving off from the showroom in the Ferrari that he had just bought. The post also sheds some light on how the wet road conditions may have led to the crash. While most of the crashes happen due to over-speeding or recklessness from the driver’s part, this may have been purely dependent on the conditions.

It is deeply saddening to see that the driver never even got to bask in the glory of his new Ferrari F430 Scuderia. However, it’s also a miracle that he made it out of this crash in one piece with minor cuts and bruises.

Afternoon folks, were you stuck in traffic this afternoon on the M1 south around junction 37? If so, here's…

The car had spun off the road, owning to the wet surface and hurtled down an embankment for more than 50 meters before coming to rest. It burst into flames then. Thankfully, the unidentified driver had moved out of the wreck to safety by then.

By the time the SYP operational support team reached the spot, the South Yorkshire Fire & Rescue were around dousing the toasted F430 Scuderia. Anyway, this example can’t be saved and probably next time when our man chooses a time to pick up a supercar from the dealer, he may think twice before heading out during wet weather.
