Ford To Bring Seven Spectacular Mustangs to SEMA 2017

As if there wasn’t already enough to be excited about, Ford reveals that they will bring seven custom Mustangs to the SEMA Show.

Ford always brings out their A-Game when it comes to the SEMA Show at the Las Vegas Convention Center. This year is no exception. With more than 50 cars being shown, Ford will have the largest OEM display at the show. Be prepared to see everything from a custom cop ‘Stang to souped up wide-body ponies. Below is a list of the 2018 Mustangs that will be revealed at the show. Each one has been uniquely modded, paying close attention to styling, performance, and overall power. Take a sneak peek for yourself!

(1) 2018 Ford Mustang Convertible Created by MAD Industries

First up, we have this aggressive-looking drop-top Mustang with a number of visible mods off the bat. On the outside, this car is sporting 20-inch staggered Niche Staccato Wheels wrapped in Michelin Pilot Sport 4 S tires. It also has an APR Carbon Fiber Drag Wing, an APR lower front splitter and a custom paint job/graphic package. This ‘vert is equipped with a re-tuned 2.3-liter EcoBoost four-cyclinder engine that is paired to a 6-speed manual transmission. Other mods include Braum Elite X-Series Racing seats, Eibach adjustable coilovers, Wilwood brakes, Ford Performance intake, and more!

(2) 2018 729 Wide-Body Mustang “TriAthlete” Created by Roush Performance

You couldn’t miss this sea foam beast if you tried! Finished in a “commemorative hue of Ford’s Grabber Green”, this Roush-supercharged Mustang gives us the classic feel of a 1970 Boss 429. Giving off a whopping 729 horses, this wide-body beast rolls on a custom set of Vossen RVS forged wheels with carbon fiber aero parts throughout. On the inside, this car includes Recaro racing seats and a Katzkin Watson Racing roll cage.

(3) 2018 Ford Mustang Fastback Created by Tucci Hot Rods

The primary goal of the car you see above was to reach a top speed of 200 mph — and it did just that! This redesigned Fastback by Tucci Hot Rods looks aggressive in its stealthy grey and black color scheme with a beefy hood that features 3D-printed hood vents. Underneath that, is a Hellion twin turbo and 5.0-liter V8 engine that is paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission. The car also features a RideTech triple adjustable air ride suspension, Wilwood Aero brakes, Borla exhaust system, and more!

(4) 2018 Ford Mustang GT Convertible Created by Speedkore Performance Group

This Mustang, designed by Speedkore, includes an updated suspension system, powertrain enhancements and carbon fiber aero parts. The Roush-supercharger is a nice addition to the already powerful 5.0-liter V8 engine. With brushed aluminum accents and all-leather Bomber Brown interior, this ‘Stang surely gives off a classic look. The interior also includes a carbon fiber roll bar with aluminum trim that adds to the retro styling. Ford Performance explains that “the tonneau cover is a modern throwback to classic speedsters and racecars from the 1930s.”

This black beauty (and beast) was designed by the professional race car driver Brad Deberti. This GT is equipped with a Roush supercharger to accompany its 5.0-liter V8 engine that’s mated to a six-speed manual. The car features Watson Racing independent rear suspension, and H&R adjustable springs and struts. It has beefy Mickey Thompson 18-inch wide tires and 20-inch Forgiato wheels. The Ford Performance brakes have been painted red to give off an accented appeal. This customized ‘Stang also gets a DeBerti billet grille, as well as Bullseye Retro custom headlights and taillights.

(6) 2018 Ford Musatng Fastback Created by Air Design

The custom silver Fastback features two long black stripes along its body. The aftermarket kit it’s sporting includes a front bumper replacement, fender vents, lower rear skirt, and an aggressive wing. This car also features Ford Licensed Accessories, such as its hood, window, and side scoops. Under the hood, you will find a 2.3-liter EcoBoost four-cylinder engine paired to a 10-speed automatic transmission. This modded pony is sitting mean on 21-inch Forgiato Fratello ECL wheels wrapped in Pirelli P Zero tires. On the inside, you can sit comfortably on Recaro leather seats and listen to beat on the Audio by Kicker.

(7) 2018 Ford Mustang Fastback Created by DRAGG

You might just pull over quickly if this cop car was behind you. DRAGG created this eco-friendly police-themed car to “symbolize the commitment of the police to the communities they serve.” It features a 2.3-liter EcoBoost engine with a six-speed manual transmission. With Ford Performance lowering springs, this car sits quite nicely on Forgiato Fratello ECL wheels and Pirelli P Zero tires. Aside from just looking the part, this car certainly sounds it too with a mean Borla exhaust system.
