Here are the 10 Best Interiors of 2018 According to WardsAuto

2018 Lexus LS
The Lexus LS follows in the footsteps outlined by the LC 500 coupe, a car which won Lexus a WardsAuto 10 Best Interiors award in 2017. The Lexus LS sedan is the flagship of the brand, so it’s only fitting that the vehicle gains the honor of bringing home the brand’s fourth WardsAuto award.
The publication noted that the segment the LS is in is usually one that doesn’t take many risks. It’s a segment where German automakers dominate, and the publication liked the fact that Lexus chose to take significant strides to make the car different from the competition.
The hand-pleated leather on the doors and the cut-crystal trim are the two most impactful materials in the cabin, according to WardsAuto. Those weren’t the only interior materials that impressed the editors, though. Everything from the knobs, buttons, and screens to the seats, dash materials, and instrument cluster were noted. The editors noted the LS had “top-shelf stuff from headliner to floor.”
The interior of the Lexus LS isn’t the only part of the car worth noting. The exterior is sleek and stylish, with the Spindle grille that’s spread across the brand. Under the hood lies either a twin-turbo V6 or a hybrid powertrain with a V6 and two electric motors working together.
