2. It has a top speed of over 200 mph

The Dodge Demon was limited to 168 mph due to its tires. The Hellcat Redeye isn’t limited to that speed, and it’s good for an intense 203 mph. The fact that a boxy muscle car can go that fast at all is impressive. Dodge improved aerodynamic performance for the 2019 model year, but the changes to the car’s exterior were minimal.

From a styling standpoint, it’s good news that Dodge didn’t change up the challenger’s styling too much. The car is seriously attractive. It has retro styling that I and many others love, but it would be interesting to see how high the top speed of this car could climb if Dodge decided to go all in on aerodynamics.

With that said, I know of only a few places on earth where someone would pilot a car to over 200 mph, so there’s really no need to make the thing go faster. Dodge might as well keep the killer styling and focus instead on making performance off the line amazing.
