2019 Toyota RAV4 Limited AWD Review: Better Than Before?

It is still good. One of the best, in fact, but it’s not the best out there like the mountain of sales might make you assume.

The Honda CR-V offers a better driving experience and a little more room. The Mazda CX-5 offers a far better driving experience and more classy styling. The Ford Escape and Nissan Rogue are darn close to passing up the RAV4 now.

Toyota has a few things going for it. The company has an excellent reputation for dependability and longevity. That matters to buyers. Also, much of what people care about—ease of use, technology, comfy seats—are all still here.

The average Joe or Jill doesn’t care too much about the minutia of the driving experience.  They want a car that will get them there every time.

At that the RAV4 is exceptional. It’ll do it in style, too. Which is why this vehicle will likely stay up near the top of the sales rankings.
