The Matrix is Coming – Will We See More Cadillacs; Lincolns and Ducatis?

Wait! What! They’ve decided on a Matrix 4? And they going to include most of the original cast? Shut the front door with that back door talk! It took them long enough.

Just when you thought you’ve seen the last of Keanu Reeves and Carrie-Anne together on-screen as Neo and Trinity in the Matrix. Variety reports, Warner Bros. Pictures, Village Roadshow Pictures and Lana Wachowski are bringing us the fourth instalment of what was supposed to be a trilogy.

Matrix 4 – You have now been ordained a tetralogy!

"Lana Wachowski is set to write and direct a fourth film set in the world of “The Matrix,” with Keanu Reeves and Carrie-Anne Moss reprising their roles as Neo and Trinity, respectively. Warner Bros. Pictures and Village Roadshow Pictures will produce and globally distribute the film. Warner Bros. Picture Group chairman Toby Emmerich made the announcement on Tuesday."

The worlds, both “The Real World” and “The Matrix” have lost their minds because of the news. The current scenes in “The Real World” – Those Sentinels are having one massive EMP party, all while Morpheus is ripping the decks in that cave with an amazing light show going.

It took them 16 years to locate Neo and Trinity. A massive vacation was in order most probably, after that final battle between “The One” and agent Smith with an I. Just talking about all of this got me excited for one of the most groundbreaking movies, then trilogies, now turned tetralogy.

Other big hits like 300, Sherlock Holmes, Underworld, Dred and many others have taken a page out of the Matrix manual. The only sad part about this, our Morpheus will no longer be Laurence Fishburne, according to records.

Couldn’t he become the oracle or architect? Let’s be real here… There’s no Neo without Morpheus. Imagine the sunglasses this man would have rocked. No arms, and probably no lenses. Or a google pair so they could use Google Maps for the closest exit (landline) from the plugged-in universe.

Or does it work differently now and all you need is WiFi, smartphone, and Neo’s contact?
