Netflix New Car Show: Rust Valley Restorers – Mike Hall Is One Funny Character
Netflix spoiling car lovers with a double dosage of car fun when they released two new series on their network. This one, Rust Valley Restorers.
Mike Hall leads the way with his new show involving him and his dysfunctional team. Not dysfunctional because they are unaware of what they doing. No, purely because of them being quite the bunch of funny characters, including Mike himself.
What is Rust Valley?
If you were a master restorer, I’d imagine your image of heaven is what Rust Valley looks like. A junkyard with thousands of spares waiting for some classic car restorer to come in and use it somewhere else.

Mike and his team recently thought about taking his hobby of rebuilding old muscle rides and turn it into a business. Spending all the money on the workshop ($2m) team Hall, better known under the brand “Rust Bros” has the difficult task to do all their revival with minimal costs while recouping maximum profit.
The show doesn’t really focus on the building of the car, but more the trading, negotiating, and swapping parts for cars, for work, for anything under the sun in the valley of rust. This team really knows their stuff and work with no safety precautions what so ever.
Dangerous? Says who exactly!
Mike’s problem is one all customers will love
The team always has a good laugh, including Mike’s son Conor. However, the leader has a major problem that cost them from time to time. He enjoys restoring rides so much, he loses sight of the goal and goes over and beyond the projected budget.
This is a problem that will cripple the business but one thing is for sure, he will continue to make the customer extremely happy, and impress them with the way he goes out of the way to exceed their expectations.
Conclusion of Rust Valley Restorers
Comparing this show to anything, it’s a lot like Car Masters: Rust to Riches. I give it a high a rating, probably a 7-10, but I still prefer Car Masters: Rust to Riches over Rust Valley Restorers.
The reason I give it such a high rating is cause I enjoy watching the story behind the build of a reconstructed vehicle and enjoy a show with people who have some good humour. Give give Rust Valley Restorers a view.
