Tom Cruise Returns With Top Gun Maverick – What Can We Expert From the Golden Oldie
If you’re not excited about the return of one Tom Cruise’s first stints as an actor, you too young for this post. Probably most to many people’s all-time favourite movies in the air is Top Gun, yes.
It took a whole 33 years for the sequel of the epic Top Gun to be made. From the long wait, one of the many things not to take place in this movie is there will be no Kelly McGillis. The two, her and Tom Cruise have aged extremely different from each other.
The latter still fit for the scrutinising big screen and beating out some banging movies over the last decade or so. The former, well, nowhere close to the star of Top Gun, Cruise. The most important factor of them all, daredevil Tom is in the movie and he will again do some of his own stunts in it.

Paramount Pictures teams up with Skydance and Jerry Bruckheimer Films for this highly anticipated continuation of my second-best fighter-pilot movie. Independence Day with Will Smith is hands down my favourite movie in the air. Just love it when we put up a damn good fight against the aliens as one world.
Hard to decide who’s the better action hero of the two. Both have their specific qualities and both enjoy doing some good science fiction flicks. Well, now the one returns to try to take back the throne of the best flying movie by 100s of 1000s of feet, while the other takes shape as Aladdin’s genie in the rereleased Aladdin.
What can excite us in Top Gun that involves cars or anything that moves? The big 1986 flick never really had big car chasing scenes but had some noteworthy cars, bikes and planes in it. After watching the two trailers what do we expect to see in the flick?
Rides For Top Gun
Back 1986, Tom Cruise on most occasions was on a motorcycle in the Top Gun film. The king of bikes back then and what he used was a Kawasaki GPZ 900R and it looks as if they will stay with the long-servicing brand.
Pictures of Cruise has been leaked (we talking one or two) of him saddled on another Kawasaki but this time it is the 2018 Kawasaki H2R. If they want to keep in the Kawasaki family, another option could have been the retro-looking Kawasaki Z900RS. It has a similar appeal to the last Kawasaki used.
The only car worth the mention in the first flick is the 1957 Porsche 356 Speedster. As per all, this was the movie that made the car a well-known prospect and famous buy. Kelly McGillis was the one who got behind the wheel of this old school classic.
Will we see another? With the movie taking place in a more modern fold, we could see later models, even some American muscle rather than the classic Porsche Speedster.
If they were to use the Speedster and stay with Porsche, it would have to be the Porsche 911 Speedster. This would also be the modern-day successor for the movie’s first and only classic. Rumour has it, the fighter-jet being flown in this one, it appears to be the F/A-18 Horne.
