The automaker continues to share Jeep Grand Wagoneer promotional images in advance of its official reveal on September 3, 2020.
Jeep is really going all-in on its hype campaign for the Jeep Grand Wagoneer. Earlier this morning, the Jeep twitter account posted a video showing the silhouette of the upcoming SUV, including the words “The Shape of Premium Returns.”

We already wrote about Jeep’s Wagoneer/Grand Wagoneer publicity campaign, which included some exterior and interior teaser shots.
Now we actually know when the full reveal is going to take place. But judging by the promotional material that Jeep has been releasing, we’re probably in for quite a few more teaser shots before the full-scale announcement.

Interestingly, Jeep hasn’t actually announced the name of the SUV that will be announced on September 3. But people have pretty much pieced it together at this point, considering the “NEER” and “WAG” logo letters that are visible in the recent exterior shots.
The recent nostalgia-baiting releases from America’s Big Three automakers have expectations riding high. Ford appears to have a hit on its hands with the Bronco, considering the positive response to the announcement of the re-imagined off-roader.
But the attempt at hype-building for the Wagoneer makes us wonder just how many people were clamoring for an updated Wagoneer. The responses to Jeep’s teaser tweets seem positive, but the real test will happen when full-vehicle shots of the full-size SUV are revealed.
We’ll continue to keep you updated with new Wagoneer pictures, along with any other highly anticipated nameplate revivals that automakers have in the works.
