1996 Dodge Viper GTS
In the mid ’90s the Viper GTS was the beast of American performance cars. The 488ci V10 engine produced a factory-rated 450hp and to put that in context the Ford Mustang GT, with a 4.6-liter V8, had 215hp.
The 90s were a dark time for horsepower.
