Daniel Suarez (NASCAR)

Suarez started his stock car career in the NASCAR Mexico Series in 2011 and won 10-races in six-seasons. The Monterrey, Mexico native worked his way up the NASCAR ranks and made his Cup Series debut in 2017 with Joe Gibbs Racing. Currently he drives for Trackhouse Racing Team, which is co-owned by Pitbull, and he finished fifth at this season’s Bristol dirt race.

His accolades include the 2010 NASCAR Corona Series Rookie of the Year and the 2015 NASCAR Xfinity Series Rookie of the Year awards.

“We’re slowly moving the needle and hopefully 5 to 10 years from now, we see a lot of more Latinos on the race track,” Suarez said.
