IMSA SportsCar Championship (2017-Current)

Montoya stayed with Team Penske as he moved to the IMSA SportsCar Championship in the DPi Acura. In 2019 Montoya teamed up with Dane Cameron to win the series championship. In 2021 he will drive Meyer Shank Racing for the IMSA Michelin Endurance Cup series

Overall Montoya won three-races in 32-starts during his IMSA career.
