Michele Mouton (WRC 1974-1986)
The Grasse, France born Mouton is the last woman to compete in high level rallying and is a four-time Group B race winner in the WRC for Audi. In 1982 she finished second in the WRC for Audi.
Mouton did double duty at the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb in 1984 and won the open rally category and finished second overall. In 1985 she won it with a record setting run.
After retiring from racing she became the first president of the FIA’s Women and Motor Sports Commission in 2010 and in 2011 the FIA’s manager in the WRC.
