Janet Guthrie (NASCAR, IndyCar)

A true pioneer for women in American motor sports. Guthrie is the first woman to qualify for the Daytona 500 and Indy 500, and is also the first woman to lead a lap in the NASCAR Cup Series.

She has two class wins at the 12 Hours of Sebring and her sixth place finish at Bristol in 1977 was the highest finish by a female driver in a NASCAR Cup Series race, a record tied by Danica Patrick.
