Like the Dodo, American Motors Corporation is no longer with us but we remember their unique contribution to the world.

From 1954 to 1988 AMC, under various names and configurations, gave us vehicle brands Hudson, Nash, Rambler, Jeep and of course all of the funky and occasionally forwarding thinking cars like the Gremlin, Eagle and Pacer.

Corporate consolidation and buyouts lead to AMC disappearing in 1988 (Chrysler purchased them) but their legacy is alive today with Jeep.  What follows are some of the funky, interesting and unique vehicles made by AMC.
