AMC AMX (1968-1970)
A two-door GT by AMC that is meant to compete with the Corvette?
Yup and the AMX was stout and the 1969 with the 390ci V8 and four-speed manual would go from 0-60 mph in 5.7-seconds and 1/4-mile in 14.4-seconds. For comparison’s sake a 1969 Corvette Stingray with a 350ci V8 could go from 0-60 mph in 6.0-seconds and a 1/4-mile in 14.6-seconds.
