Sara Christian (1949-1950)

Sara Christian is the first female driver in NASCAR history.

She made her debut at Charlotte Speedway on June 19, 1949 in the NASCAR Strictly Stock Series’ first sanctioned stock car race. Christian finished 14th that day and ran seven-races in her Cup Series career that featured a pair of To-10 finishes.
