Dan Gurney

You would be hard pressed to find a racing series or discipline that Gurney did not excel at he is one of three drivers that have won races in Formula One, NASCAR, IndyCar and Sports Cars.

Gurney’s NASCAR career was brief, 16 career races, but he won five and had 10 Top-10 finishes. He was road course guru and dominated Riverside International Raceway.

Though predominately an F1 driver, Gurney ran the Indianapolis 500 from 1962-1970. During his 1969 hiatus from F1 he drove 28 IndyCar races and won seven of them.
