Tony Stewart

He idolizes A.J. Foyt and it seems proper to put the two together in this article.

“This is the baddest man on the planet right here,” Stewart said of Foyt.

Stewart emulated his idol and drove in different disciplines and had great IndyCar and NASCAR careers. “Smoke” started in IndyCar and was the series champ in his first season (1997) and won three-races in his 26-race career.

His NASCAR career was legendary with three Cup Series championships (2002, 2005, 2011) and 49 career victories. He is co-owner of Stewart-Haas Racing and under his watch they have won a pair of Cup Series titles. In 2020 he was inducted into the NASCAR Hall of Fame.
