Jeff Gordon #24

When you take Jeff Gordon’s career achievements of four Cup Series championships (third most in history) and 93 Cup Series race wins (third all time) and then add his impact on the sport you have an all-time great and a trail blazer.

Gordon opened up the sport to the West Coast and made it more mainstream. As a fellow Northern California dude, Gordon (a Vallejo, CA native) brought the sport to us and in some manner I owe my fandom to him.  He broke down the cultural barrier that NASCAR was not only for the South but could be for everyone in the U.S.
