1999 Mitsubishi 3000GT VR-4
At the time and to a certain degree even today the Mitsubishi 3000GT VR-4 flew under radar in performance car circles. I’m not sure why but it less revered than the Toyota Supra.
It had legit performance specs for the era with a twin-turbo DOHC 24V 3.0-liter V6 engine that produced a factory-rated 320hp and 15 ft/lbs of torque. All-wheel drive helped it go from 0-60 mph in the 5.6-seconds range and a 1/4-mile was done in 14.1-seconds.
I was going to include the Dodge Stealth in this list but it is 3000GT with Mopar badging.
