1970 Dodge Charger R/T (Fast & Furious)

Dom Torreto’s 1970 Dodge Charger R/T cannot die. You can mess it up but it will rise again and live for another car chase or “Fast & Furious” sequel.

It has appeared in four installments and during “Furious 7” it was modified for off-road duty in the first part of the movie and by the end it was back to its street version. (It was also shipped from Europe and back to L.A. but lets not focus on space, time and car modifications.)

We were introduced to Dom’s Charger in “The Fast and the Furious” as a lion in a cage. Dom built the car with his father but never drove after his dad’s passing. It hung out in the garage as Dom admitted that he was scared to drive it.

His fear is legit and based on the Charger’s 900hp Hemi engine topped with a blower. A nine-second 1/4-mile seems like a bold proclamation but during the final scene of the movie we get to witness its monstrous torque.

Hopefully it makes an appearance in “F9”.
