Full disclosure: I am a devout Phoenix Suns fan and I’ve been having a great time during their run to the 2021 NBA Finals.

In my decade plus of Suns fandom, I transplanted to Phoenix about 15-years ago and adopted the Suns as my own, I’ve witnessed a lot of subpar hoops and that makes this season much more fun. You can’t enjoy the sweet, unless you’ve had the sour i probably the best mindset to have when your team makes the playoffs once in 11-seasons.

But those notions of a drought in Arizona, beyond the lack of rain, are over. The Suns are in the NBA Finals and I am a happy man. When you live in Arizona and root for the locals teams it can be frustrating, anger inducing and will test your resolve.

For example, it’s been 12-years since the Arizona Cardinals lost the Super Bowl and I still get upset at the sight of Santonio Holmes in the end zone with Aaron Francisco just a second too late.

But alas the Suns are up 1-0 in the NBA Finals and all is well for we Phoenicians. I don’t know how long those good vibes will last but I am going to enjoy the moment.

The Suns are lead by their All-Star two-guard Devin Booker. I don’t want to get into semantics if Chris Paul is their leader, but as their veteran point-guard he controls the tempo and provides wisdom and Booker is their scorer.

Like a lot of Suns faithful, Booker has suffered through some lean years in Phoenix but is rising to the occasion on basketball’s biggest stage and as any true performer in the limelight he arrives with panache.

Booker’s entrance to the arena before games is a car lover’s dream. He owns some great American rides and he customized them with his own flavor.  Sometimes you can learn a lot about someone when you see their ride and how they drive.

(This isn’t absolutely true but like looking at someone’s record collection you can get a vibe.)

But when Booker rolls up you know he’s a boss and here are some of his rides:
