Welcome to my list of my favorite daily drivers. As the title states, this list is entirely based on my own personal experiences and opinions. If you feel there is a car that deserves attention or  to be added to the list, please feel free to send me the title and keys and I’ll gladly review it for you. This article is for entertainment purposes only, for the average car person or non-car person.

Now, let’s get to it. A daily driver car should check a lot of boxes for me. Reliability, room for a couple of car seats (ideally all three), enough power and handling to enjoy the driving experience, average fuel economy, road trip ability and it must be available for less than $10,000.

I have a tendency to stick with rear wheel drive and all-wheel drive cars with manual transmissions, but for the sake of this article will not use that as a basis of measurement.  There are pros and cons to every powertrain layout, and delving in to them and factoring them in would likely ruin the fun. This list is comprised entirely of sedans and due to budget restrictions, it worked out that they are all roughly the same age.

This is an exercise in civilized and enjoyable cars that will fit groceries, golf clubs, a few friends or whatever you want to bring along. But, most importantly, do all of this within the confines of an average Joe budget. Car pricing data pulled from Truecar.com
