Wrapping your vehicle is becoming more and more popular, from celebrities to businesses to promote their work. Seeing a wrapped car driving on the road is also becoming more normal and widely used by society.

Getting your vehicle wrapped is a cost-effective way to re-painting it another colour and customers can also design and manipulate the colour to their own liking. The average paintjob for a vehicle from a professional spraying booth can cost anywhere from $3500 to $10000 depending on the size of the vehicle and colour of the paint. On the other hand, wrapping your vehicle can cost anywhere from $3000 to $5000. However, respraying your car as a whole doesn’t come without its problems. A total respray can form bubbles on the surface of the paint if the vehicle is not sprayed correctly or up to factory standards.

One major flaw with respraying your vehicle is that it can rapidly decrease the value of the vehicle as not many people want to purchase a car that’s been painted a whole different colour to the original paintwork. This is where wrapping can come in handy, customers can wrap their car to a different colour e.g., a black car with a gold vinyl wrap, and if in a few months they want to sell the car they simply need to apply heat onto the wrap and remove it. This will also cause no damage to the original paintwork as the wrap has kept the paint preserved and in a pristine condition.

Another reason why car wrapping is becoming more popular is that it can protect the paint from stone and chips. The vinyl wraps act like a barrier between the paint and earthly materials. For those that do not want a coloured vinyl but still want a clear transparent wrap to protect against stone and chips, you can apply a PPF to your vehicle which stands for Paint Protection Film. The film protects the original paint from minor abrasions, rock chips and also scratches.

For businesses, vinyl can be used as a promotional material tool rather a person that wants to wrap as an aestethic. For example, organizations can decal their vehicles out, so the general public know which organization the vehicle belongs to. This is a great way to promote awareness that your business exists.
