Not only does the 2024 Nissan Pathfinder deliver solid performance, but it also has a modern and spacious interior that will keep both passengers and drivers happy. Additionally, those not wanting the newest model can still go for the 2023 Nissan Pathfinder.

The 2024 Nissan Pathfinder is one of the best midsize SUVs for performance

The Nissan Pathfinder may not be the fastest or the most powerful vehicle on the market. However, it is one of the best midsize SUVs for performance because it delivers an ultra smooth ride that feels formidable. Not only that, but it’s also excellent for off-roading. According to Edmunds, the 2024 Nissan Pathfinder has a 3.5-liter V6 engine with a maximum output of 284 horsepower and a torque of 259 lb-ft.

The Pathfinder has front and four-wheel drive configurations and uses a 9-speed automatic transmission. This may not be the best midsize SUV for speed, but it’s certainly not the slowest. The front-wheel drive versions get from 0 to 60 miles per hour in 6.7 seconds, while it only takes the four-wheel drive models 6.6 seconds. It can tow up to 6,000 pounds. Buyers should note that the 2023 Nissan Pathfinder is also similar in this regard.

People will also like that this V6 Nissan isn’t that bad for fuel economy. According to the automaker, it averages 21 miles per gallon in the city and 27 on the highway.

The Pathfinder is a solid off-roading SUV

Then there is also hill descent control, which works to make sure the Pathfinder goes down hills at a safe speed. It has a ground clearance of 7.1 inches. Notably, the 2023 Nissan Pathfinder offers much of the same.
