The 2023 Maxima was in production for an impressively long time. In fact, the four-door sports car entered the market in 1981 and remained in production until mid-2023. This move from Nissan came as the result of deciding to focus on electric vehicles. The automaker intends to have 40% come from EVs by 2020. Luckily, the 2023 Nissan Maxima has some significant claims for being considered one of the best four-door sports cars on the market.

The 2023 Nissan Maxima has a lot to offer when it comes to performance without sacrificing too much in the way of fuel economy. According to Edmunds, the 2023 Nissan Maxima has a 3.5-liter V6 engine with a maximum output of 300 horsepower and torque of 261 lb-ft. It has a continuously variable transmission and front-wheel drive.

When it comes to speed, this is easily one of the best four-door sports cars. The 2023 Nissan Maxima accelerates from 0 to 60 miles per hour in 5.7 seconds. Of course, there are faster cars out there, but this is impressive for a vehicle of its size. It’s also not too bad for fuel economy. It averages 20 miles per gallon in the city and 30 MPG on the highway.

The Nissan Maxima has a refined interior

The 2023 Nissan Maxima is a solid four-door sports car for space. It has room for five and offers plenty of room to stretch out. It has dual-zone climate control, which makes it an overall comfortable car for everyone. Regarding seating, it has eight-way driver’s seats with power lumbar support. The passenger seat is a four-way adjustable.

The 2023 Nissan Maxima comes standard with a seven-inch touchscreen display that uses Nissan Connect8 as its interface. In addition to Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, the Maxima supports door-to-door navigation and Nissan Connect with Hotspot. It has a solid interior.

The Nissan Maxima has a legacy

While the 2023 Nissan Maxima is an overall great sports car, it comes from a long line of vehicles that deserve more respect. Some of the 1990’s Nissan Maxima Models are best in class. However, for a newer model, this is a good one. It’s also a solid way to go out. It has an MSRP of $38,340.
