The 2024 Mazda3 has much to offer buyers who want a sedan or hatchback that offers more in the way of speed and power. Additionally, the new Mazda3 is an attractive vehicle that’s pretty advanced on the inside. It may not be the most popular car on the market, but it’s a vehicle buyers can trust for years to come. Not only that, but the 2023 Mazda3 is still a solid choice.

The 2024 Mazda3 is a fast car with various power options

The 2024 Mazda3 is one of the best sedans and hatchbacks for performance. According to Edmunds, it comes standard with a 2.5-liter inline-four engine with a maximum output of 191 horsepower and a torque of 186 lb-ft. The car offers front and all-wheel drive configurations and has manual and automatic transmission options.

Luckily, there is an even more powerful version of the 2024 Mazda3 sedan and hatchback. This one has a turbocharged 2.5-liter that makes 227 horsepower and has a torque of 310 lb-ft. According to some road tests, the turbocharged Mazda3 is one of the best sedans for speed as it accelerates from 0 to 60 miles per hour in only 5.9 seconds. Are there faster cars on the market? Yes, but this is still impressive. Notably, the 2023 Mazda3 offers the same performance.

The new Mazda3 also isn’t all that bad for fuel economy. The non-turbo versions average 31 miles per gallon, while the turbocharged trims average 26 MPG combined.

This is one of the best sedans for its interior

The 2024 Mazda3 has a spacious interior that has much to offer for the price, as it has room for five people. The vehicle comes standard with black cloth seats, but the highest trim gets black leather. For comfort, all but the base model has dual-zone climate control. This means the new Mazda3 is one of the best sedans and hatchbacks for interior comfort.

Regarding interior technology, all trims have an 8.8-inch touchscreen display with a seven-inch LCD meter display. Android Auto and Apple CarPlay are both supported, and the base models have a six-speaker sound system. However, higher trims have an eight-speaker sound system. The 2023 Mazda3 offers much of the same.
