People who go for the 2024 Dodge Charger will have options. The Daytona R/T and Scat Pack trims of the iconic muscle car will be all-electric and will use two electric motors. According to Edmunds, the base trim has a maximum output of 456 horsepower. It makes 496 horsepower with a temporary boost. This version of the 2024 Dodge Charger can accelerate from 0 to 60 miles per hour in only 4.7 seconds.

The Daytona Scat Pack trim of the all-electric Dodge Charger is much more powerful. This one has a maximum output of 630 horsepower. It can accelerate from 0 to 60 miles per hour in a stellar 3.3 seconds. So far, this model seems like an improvement over the 2023 Dodge Charger.

Dodge did confirm that there will be a gas-powered version of the Charger. This is a bit surprising as it previously sounded like there wouldn't be. However, the engine will be a straight-6 and not a V8. The gas-powered version is expected to launch next year.
