Jaguar TCS Racing has been stellar.

While there has still been great parody amongst the sport with winners such as Sam Bird and Max Guenther grabbing early season race wins, their hasn't been as many outleirs in 2024.

Between this recent stretch for Nick Cassidy and the Shanghai victory in Round 11 for Mitch Evans, the performance and momentum has all lead to the current state of the driver & team standings.

But, now with Antonio Felix Da Costa making a late season push and Wehrlein and Evans in the hunt, the battle for the crown is getting tense.

Not to mention the battle between Porsche vs. Jaguar this season has been one to watch.

With both manufacturers signed up into Gen4 era, we know that both iconic brands are in for the long haul, but the question will be if Porsche can hold off the Jags from sweeping the championships in 2024 this weekend.

In Portland, Nick Cassidy fell apart.

From dropping the race win in Round 13 to having a dreaful finish to Round 14, the US stop was one to forget for last year's race winner at the circuit.

Now, with only a 12-point cushion, Cassidy can feel the heat coming from his teammate Evans and Pascal Wehrlein heading into Round 15 tomorrow.

For the Brit, the key will be to defend.

A race win would go a long way for Cassidy to boost himself back up in the standings but he needs to finish better than the six other eligible drivers to close the championship chase.

Tomorrow's race will be more about finishing towards the top rather than defend.

If Cassidy can win tomorrow, Sunday can be more about focusing on holding his point lead rather than scrambling to battle other contenders.

It will be a difficult road for drivers such as Evans, Wehrlein, and Da Costa to try an push their way pass Cassidy and team strategy will be super crucial for the weekend.

It may be more clearer cut in regard to strategy for Porsche, but Jaguar would want a scenario were both of their drivers have chance to contend for season crown.

It does seem like Cassidy should make it out alive this weekend and grab one of the three titles for Jaguar this weekend in the form of a drivers crown.

Clinch All Three?

Clinching all three of Formula E's titles would be quite a feat but a lot would have to go in Jaguar's right way.

Nick Cassidy and Jaguar TCS holds the key to grabbing a driver and team championship this weekend. However, Porsche has a sizeable lead in the manufacturers titke pitcure, preventing a Jaguar sweep.

Obviously, the manufacturers championship would go to the powertrain brand rather than one specific team, but it would still finish the Jag sweep.

Jaguar TCS winning the teams title seems like a guarantee, but the drivers and manufactuerers title are much more blury when it comes to a chance for the brand to sweep.

Given how hot Da Costa has been over the past several races, maybe Da Costa can sneak away from London with a grasp of the drivers championship for 23/24.

Only time will tell, but a clean Jag sweep may be more tougher than it looks.
